As seen in the Olympic Games, uses four pieces of apparatus for girls and six for boys. Both include floor and vault, with girls adding beam and asymmetric bars and the boys competing pommel horse, high bar, parallel bars and rings.
Salto 'squad' gymnasts train up to fifteen hours per week depending upon their age and ability and compete at County and Regional events.
In addition to specific apparatus training it is necessary for the gymnasts to undertake strength conditioning, flexibility and dance training.
The club also holds its own annual competition, which gives members of the General Gym classes an opportunity to compete.
