General Gymnastics is the historical and cultural base of all FIG activities. It is a non-competitive form of gymnastics featuring festivals and displays and culminating in a world festival of gymnastics, the World Gymnaestrada, held every four years and attracting tens of thousands of participants from many countries.

General gym classes run Monday - saturday .                                                    Wednesday 5:00 class is an  ADVANCED class.

• The participant level
  age ranging from 5-11+.

• The children work towards badges on our proficiency badge scheme starting at 8 working through to 1.

• All the classes are led by qualified coaches and have assistants.

• Classes consist of warm up, floor skills, use of bars, beam and vault, and a cool down

Our general gym section also has to squads the GG squad and floor and vault squad .

• These squads are invitational only .                       
• The gymnasts compete in general competitions through out the year.
• The GG squad train on all four pieces of apparatus beam, bars, floor and vault.
• The floor and vault squad are a two piece squad specializing on floor and vault .
• The GG squad train for 2hrs on Saturday and have to attend one other session .
• The floor and vault train on a tuesady for 21/2 hours
